Founded in 2003 by Todd Tourso- art director for Flaunt magazine, and Tofer - painter and photographer, the avant-garde clothing line is indeed a reflection of their expansive creative backgrounds. Gaining much notoriety from the 2006 release of the “Pharrell Can’t Skate” tee, I have loved this brand from the time I viewed the entire collection at the United tradeshow in February 07’.
Always focusing on producing quality garments, their attention to detail for their upcoming fall 2008 collection is impeccable. From the perforated 5 panel cap and the prewashed tees, to the speckled heather joggers and mockneck hoody- you will not shy away from the appropriately priced pieces-they are justified with every detail. With its peculiar, but sophisticated approach, Plain Gravy is holding its weight, setting the standard with a clean, yet visually stimulating collection. All these items are sure to be a part of your wardrobe for a long while.
Ladies, although this is menswear, don’t shy away. A loose fitting top, paired with a skinny pant always makes for a very sexy ensemble.
