old school friday...posse cutz!!!

today we are going to give you two great experiences. first, we have a great theme...posse cuts. we have also added another guest blogger...dj roosevelt treasure chest from one of my favorite music sites ruby hornet...

i'm going to start it off with dj roosevelt treasure chest. he was everywhere with his picks today. he almost picked the same video as andrew and the video he picked was from the posse that i wanted to use...talk about great minds thinking alike!!!

def squad...rapper's delight

andrew of fakeshore drive is kind of continuing his theme from last week with an interesting colloboration. andrew picked an original version to a song that later became a diss record against one of the artist on the original version...it also has an artist from left field...

method man, redman, dmx, canibus, ll cool j, and master p...4,3,2,1

my posse cut is a last minute decision...i couldn't decide on what i wanted because the first picks were great...since this is the solemates...chicago blog let me go with a classic!!! this also eliminates anyone from picking this for next weeks theme...cameo appearances.

everybody hot in the east coast at one period...self destruction

question: if a rapper made a song like this during the state of ringtone rap would this get radio play?
