when andrew sent this over he made a good point. he said "How this song didn't blow when it came out is just beyond me. That's just how dope the game was during this era...you could make a song featuring Nas, Raekwon, Fat Joe, Big Pun and Jadakiss and it would fall on deaf ears." but as he said this i started thinking, "if all of these artist did a song together in todays game i think it would blow up"...just look at the south for example, they have crew song with everybody and their momma on it and you can't avoid it on the radio...if the the eastcoast, westcoast and midwest rappers did this maybe they would get more airtime in today game...just my thoughts...

autumn's pick...
her pick wasn't an easy one to find so don't mind the soap opera at the beginning...however; her pick was a great video that shows the diversity of our blog...how she recovered this one from the crates is amazing...autumn has really been diggin' lately. this video proves there is always a lane for hip hop and r&b...oh yeah don't mind the kwest the mad lad video at the end either!!!

some of you may be to young to remember when mtv was the only video station on t.v. some of you may also be to young to remember when they didn't play rap until the weekends...well i used to watch mtv when headbangers ball was the best show they had (actually i think it was the only show)...i know i may lose points with this one but you can't blame me for liking this song it's a classic...
