i've been hearing about these for a while and the homie stevie "dread" came through with a dope blazer sb. nike finally got their mind right and let an o.g skate dude from the windy city design a skateboard shoe. uprise will be releasing these along with a party check out the info below.

while autumn and i were out of town soaking up the sun we missed a few music posts. you may have seen these but to let you know i'm messing feeling both of these guys i had to "spot jock" the other blogs...

my buddies over at project mayhem are putting together another solo project for one the of four artist. batting in the crucial second spot we have a big ish a.k.a ish claiborne. here is a leak from the mixtape body in the trunk.

this weekend i had the pleasure of styling miss drew sidora (of the game, and newly signed to j records). she's hosting remix the runway, taking place on november 28th. thanks to my boo sade for helping out, and my cousin tee jay for bringing out the worst in me, too many jokes! anyhoo, the company made the six hours seem like 5...the shoot was photographed by parrish lewis

some of my good friends, project mayhem having been getting a little buzz lately. here they perform in front of a packed crowd at the house of blues while opening up for the legendary ice cube...


also, me and project mayhem took a quick trip to new york to check out the cmj music festival (i also went to see the new bkcircus and get some merchandise before the rest of you grab everything up). once we were out there the chi-town love was in full effect. during hollywood holt and mano's show at arlene's grocery project mayhem literally had the joint rocking. here is some footage that i've been looking/stalking/begging for. i also want to add that mano and hollywood put on a dope show as well. the energy those two guys have together is unrivaled. keep it up chicago!!!

on monday b, d.win and i attended the mixtape release of glc's "i ain't even on yet". the event was held at the chicago recording company and put together by briahna {chicago's hip hop journalist}. it was like a sauna in that place, but good times nonetheless. congrats to glc on his release and his feature in an upcoming video game. peep the pics...

this weekend i decided to shoot out to new york for the bkc blackout 2008 and for the cmj music festival. i got a chance to see the new store, which looks fantastic! while i was in brooklyn i got a chance to hang out with the bkc crew (bev, colin, neeka, nimantha, nami, and akane). i also poked my head into a spot in the lower east side to see hollywood holt, mano, and project mayhem preform at the cmj festival (i'll get you pictures of the performance soon). i must say new york was really feeling the energy from chicago's artist this weekend.
